"Vision Pulls!"

“When a quizzical look of a learner becomes a smile, or a tear on a cheek is voluntarily wiped out, or a smear of lack of confidence turns to a sturdy willingness to do a task, or a timid child uttering a statement you have longed to hear, or a shivering hand reaching out to receive a certificate amid a crowd, or a scared child finding solace in your class or presence, or when the joy of being around a happy learner simply runs in your blood,  know that you are a true educator!” Education is not a career; it is passion for learning and genuine commitment to quality education! 

It all starts when you feel a throb of excitement upon a remark of appreciation or the mastery of a new skill.  You may not comprehend this authentic feeling at first or realize where it will lead you, but as years unfold, you realize that you have embarked on a very special, most rewarding experience that will deepen the meaning of your life and unlock the spectrum of creativity and innovation. You become like a flowing river, pouring knowledge, expertise, and love! It is the love of being around beautiful minds of learners; children who become a part of your life, whose warm smiles and avid love for exploration cannot be unnoticed or remain unappreciated!

Giving is the most invaluable gift that you could ever earn and this gift gives meaning to your work as an educator. It is the fuel that gets your engine started early in the morning, the rudder that guides you to make wise decisions, the power that lights your path towards the destination. You thrive, soaring above all the challenges, negative outcomes, and limitations. Your heart always beckons to love and contentment, your mind to innovation and your soul to bliss when you see a glimmer of joy in the eyes of a child!

You are not only contributing to learners. You are also contributing to teachers, those vigorous individuals who strive to implement strategies, manage classes, and imprint fruitful changes unto the learning experience of the students. Looking up at you as their role model, some teachers voraciously learn from your experience, as you see them instantly putting their professional development guidelines into action, demonstrating proficiency, precision, responsibility, and good team spirit.

As you sow, so you shall reap… Success cannot let you down. Neither can excitement about what you do. You view yourself with eyes of pride and a heart of exultation because at the core of your heart, good intention resides and perseverance dwells. You have dedicated your school day to embrace your learners’ needs, reveal their potentials, and delightfully share the excitement of their realization. 

Simply said.. You are born to be an educator! Rejoice for having the opportunity to share your love for your work in the noblest manner, your delight in its details in the most refined way, and your expertise in the most effective approaches. Your strides that once were minute have grown, your skills that were once insufficient have multiplied, and above all, your faith in yourself has solidified.

You are a true and mature educator! Enjoy the bliss of influencing lives! This is your vision and it will continue to pull you for years to come!
